Overview

When a connected marketplace has work near you waiting to be claimed, an Available to claim card appears on HomeBase so you don’t miss it while you’re working in ProBase. Available to claim card on HomeBase The card shows how many jobs are waiting — for example 3 jobs available to claim — with a line reading New LawnStarter work near you — claim it in the app before it’s gone.

Claiming a job

Tap View jobs in LawnStarter (or Lawn Love / Home Gnome) to open the available-jobs list in the marketplace app, where you pick the jobs you want.
Claiming happens in the marketplace app, never in ProBase. Once you claim a job, it syncs onto your ProBase schedule — usually within about 15 minutes. See How marketplace syncing works.
If the marketplace app isn’t installed on your device, ProBase shows an Open the LawnStarter app window with a Get the app button that takes you to the download page.

When the card appears

  • You have a Connected marketplace account (see Connecting a marketplace account)
  • That account currently has at least one job waiting to be claimed
  • You’re a business owner or admin — the same people who can reach your business settings
The card hides itself when there’s nothing waiting, and one row appears per connected marketplace if you’re linked to more than one. The count is a snapshot rather than a live ticker, so it can trail the marketplace by a few minutes — the app’s list is always the truth.
